-12:13 p.m.: vehicle theft. A Greenville man reported his ex-girlfriend had failed to return his car after several months. He informed police two days later that the car was returned, and he did not wish to pursue charges.

June 23

-12:26 p.m.: fugitive. Shala Partin was arrested on a felony warrant out of Darke County for heroin possession.

Accidents

-Marjorie J. Ryder, 82, of Greenville, was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign following a two-vehicle collision Friday at 11:53 a.m.

According to police, Ryder stopped at a stop sign facing south on Benden Way at East Russ Road. She saw a westbound vehicle, driven by Michael M. Huckleby, 28, of Piqua, but reportedly thought she had time to make a left turn in front of hit. The Huckleby vehicle struck hers.

Neither driver was injured. Damage was moderate to the Huckleby vehicle and minor to the Ryder vehicle.

-A motorcyclist was transported by CareFlight with incapacitating injuries after rearending another motorcycle Saturday at 5:53 p.m.

According to the crash report, Aaron L. Howard, 43, and Jory E. Guinn, 40, both of Greenville, were eastbound on Russ Road near Hickory riding motorcycles when Howard moved too close, struck Guinn in front of him and was thrown from the bike. Howard was injured in the crash, and Guinn was not. Neither was wearing a helmet. Howard also was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.

-Richard L. Harmeson, 89, of Greenville, was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation Monday after a two-vehicle collision on Fifth at Broadway at 11:07 a.m. Harmeson reported he was stopped at the light and hit the gas instead of the brake, rearending the car stopped in front of him, which was driven by Ray H. Opp, 77, of Union City, Indiana.

Opp was transported by Greenville Township Rescue to Wayne emergency room for nonincapacitating injuries.

The Opp vehicle had minor damage, and the Harmeson vehicle was heavily damaged.
