Local musicians to perform at the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Strings Concert

DAYTON – Accomplished musicians will perform with the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Strings (DPYS), conducted by Dr. Betsey Hofeldt, at the annual Spring Concert on Sunday, March 20, at 3 p.m. in the Masonic Center located at 525 W Riverview Ave, Dayton, OH 45405.

The concert features the music of Handel, Mozart, Grieg, Hovhaness, and Mancini. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door or can be obtained by calling 937-224-3521 x1136.

DPYS comprises 59 students in grades 6 through 12 from 27 area schools. Membership in the orchestra is through competitive audition.
