COLUMBUS — Court administrators seeking to advance their skills through professional development may apply for the Thomas J. Moyer Memorial Scholarship. Applications are due at 5 p.m. on Sept. 15.
In 2010, the Ohio Association for Court Administration (OACA) established the Moyer Memorial Scholarship to honor the memory of the late chief justice. Moyer worked to establish educational opportunities for OACA members, and this scholarship honors his commitment to judicial staff education.
The scholarship is open to OACA members only. The $1,000 scholarship may be used for any court administration or judiciary-related education or professional development opportunity. The scholarship must be used during the year in which it is awarded.
Application forms are now available. The scholarship application can be found at http://ohiocourtadministration.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/34/2011/08/Moyer-app-2015.pdf, completed and emailed to OACA@sc.oho.gov for consideration.
