DARKE COUNTY – Darke County Partnering for Progress in collaboration with Darke County businesses and schools are announcing Darke County Junior Job Shadow Week that will be held during the week of Nov. 9-13.

During this week 166 Juniors from Darke County schools will be spending time in over 30 area businesses investigating potential career choices. Job shadowing can be the critical link between school and the workplace by providing students with knowledge about the education, skills and competencies necessary to be successful.

The businesses who will be hosting students include the following: Anthony Wayne Early Childhood Center, Arcanum Veterinary, BASF, Brown’s Nursery, Brumbaugh Construction, Cain Chiropratic, Greenville Mayor’s Office, Cooper Farms, Daily Advocate, Darke County Municipal Court, Darke County Sheriff Dept., Decolores Montessori School, Early Bird, Family Health Services, FRAM, Garbig & Schmidt, LLD, Garst Museum, Greenville City Schools, Greenville Veterinary Clinic, GTI, HER Realtors, JAFE Decorating Company, Keller Feed and Grain, Darke County Mental Health, Midmark, Mote, Neff Motivation, Paul Ackley, Greenville Fire Deprtment., Shultz Motors, US Navy, Wayne Healthcare, WHIO TV, WTGR Radio, and Younques Boutique.
