Does our sense of humor improve with age or do we become grumpy old people? There’s never a shortage of jokes poking fun of various segments of the population. Over the years, we’ve heard and told popular knock knock jokes, ethnic jokes, blonde jokes, even the occasional dirty joke…but now the joke just might be on us.

It’s been said that laughter is the best medicine. We know a good laugh is good for the soul and if a joke is really funny we enjoy sharing it with others. Hopefully these jokes help us laugh our way to a longer and healthier life. Afterall if we learn to laugh at ourselves we will have a lifetime of entertainment.

Life not only begins at 40, it begins to show.

Setting an example for your children takes all the fun out of middle age.

There is always a lot to be thankful for, if you take the time to look. For example, isn’t it nice that wrinkles don’t hurt?

Are you laughing? Keep on smiling and find comfort in knowing we are all getting older at the same rate of speed—we just got started at different times. Don’t forget growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional and inside every one of us is a young person wondering what the heck happened.

This Saturday is also Armed Forces Day. This is a day to honor Americans in uniform that serve their country, in any branch of the military or have served in times of war and peace.
