Upcoming events in Union City include:

Trick or Treat in Union City is Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The Union City Police and Fire Department will host an open house for all citizens to attend. Come join the free food and entertainment for the kids. They will be giving tours of their facility and demonstrations of their various equipment and personnel.

From 4:15 – 5:30 p.m., the costume pageant and parade around the downtown park. The main event, judging and more will be held at the new Artisan Park in Union City.

5:30 – 7:30 p.m. is Trunk or Treat also in the new Artisan Park.

Trick or treat in Union City, Indiana, will be from 7:30 until 10 p.m.

Trick or treat in Union City, Ohio, will be 6 until 8 p.m.

The festivities planned for at Wesley United Methodist Church have been cancelled due to weather predictions.

Nov. 7, the Union City Lions Club will host its bi-annual all-you-can-eat whole hog sausage and Pancake Day 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Union City Elks Club. Cost is $6.50 for adults age 13 and older and $3 for children.

Membership renewals. Invest in the Arts in your Community. Renewal or new membership in the Art Association of Randolph County is now taking place. The home of the Art Association is in the beautifully restored depot, built in 1913. Send your check today. Student membership is $10; single membership is $25 and family membership is $40. Nov. 21 is the Annual Christmas Shopping Days 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. at multiple locations throughout downtown Union City. This is Lights in the Park Festival Opening as well. Friday after Thanksgiving delight to the opening of the Community Christmas in Harter Park which begins with a light parade ending at Harter Park with over 3-4 million lights throughout the park. What a great way to open the Holiday Season.
