Union City News: Lions serve 500-plus pancakes

0

Last Saturday, the Union City Lions Club hosted the bi-annual Pancake Day at the Union City Elks Club. Over 500 dinners were served of “all you can eat” whole hog sausage, pancakes, orange juice, and coffee or milk.

The Union City Lions club appreciates the support of our loyal patrons. The proceeds of this event will go to support local charities and Indiana Lions Club projects. Future articles will detail the various groups which receive Lions donations. Assisting with the Pancake Day were students for Union City and Mississinawa Valley Schools. The club invites interested people to become members. Please contact any member or call membership chairman, Owen Griffith at 765-964-7436.

The next Pancake Day is April 9, 2016.
