ANSONIA – The Ansonia Athletic Boosters have scheduled a ball drop bonanza fundraiser Feb. 6.

This fundraiser is for the future needs for boys and girls athletics programs at Ansonia Schools. This includes junior high and high school levels. Funds will cover future costs for uniforms, equipment and other needs as they arise.

Fans can purchase one ball for $10 or three balls for $25. Each ball will be assigned a number, and all the balls will be dropped at the Ansonia High School gym following the varsity boys basketball game on Feb. 6. The ball that lands in or closest to the target wins $500. The $500 will be split if more than one ball lands inside the target.

Ten other randomly drawn balls will win bonus prizes that include two Ansonia yearly sports passes for 2016-17, one case of canned turkey from Cooper Farms in St. Henry, KitchenAid blender, four Eldora NASCAR truck tickets, farm toys ($88 value) from North Star Hardware and Implement, $50 gift card from Kroger, pizza pack-one free pizza from the Whistle Stop, Paula’s Diner and M ‘n M, $25 gift card from Birt’s Store in New Weston, Truck/RV tire gauge and 150 piece cable tie set ($20 value) from Ansonia auto parts and a Tiger spirit pack.

Tickets may be purchased at the Ansonia branch of Greenville National Bank, at any home varsity boys basketball game or by calling Boosters President Amanda Fischer at 337-5141.

Fans need not be present to win.
