Greenville finishes 2nd in home swim meet

GREENVILLE – The Greenville swim teams finished second to Brookville in a home meet on Friday at the YMCA of Darke County.

Brookville won the combined varsity meet with 204 points while Greenville finished second with 155, Tri-Village finished third with 38, Carlisle finished fourth with 37, and Houston finished fifth with 12.

Greenville’s Cassey Bolyard, Isabel Elliott, Ana Oliveira and Isabella Gable finished second in the girls 200 yard medley relay with a time of 2:19.23.

Greenville’s quartet of Jose Badell, Seth Conway, Tanner Herrmann and Josh Smith won the boys 200 yard medley relay in 1:52.18. Greenville’s Jacob Subler, Shane Barga, Pablo Badell and Zac Davis finished fourth in 2:17.50.

Tri-Village’s Edie Morris won the girls 200 yard freestyle in 2:11.50, and Greenville’s Cassey Bolyard finished third in 2:49.62.

Tri-Village’s Casey Puckett won the boys 200 yard freestyle in a time of 2:01.45, and Greenville’s Seth Conway finished second in 2:10.13.

Tri-Village’s Aubrey Morris won the boys 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:18.28, Greenville’s Pablo Badell finished second in 2:26.69, and Shane Barga finished fourth in 2:39.81.

Greenville’s Isabella Gable won the girls 50 yard freestyle in 24:82, breaking the Greenville program record in the process. Greenville’s Isabel Elliott finished second in 30.57.

Greenville’s Tanner Herrmann finished third in the boys 50 yard freestyle in a time of 29.38.

Greenville’s Tanner Herrmann finished second in the boys 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:06.19.

Greenville’s Isabel Elliott won the girls 100 yard freestyle in 1:11.11, and Greenville’s McKenna Crews finished fourth in 1:25.77.

Greenville’s Jose Badell won the boys 100 yard freestyle with a time of 55.44 while Greenville’s Josh Smith finished second in 56.60.

Tri-Village’s Aubrey Morris won the boys 500 yard freestyle in a time of 5:24.29.

Greenville’s quartet of Ana Oliveira, Isabella Gable, McKenna Crews and Isabel Elliott finished second in the girls 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 2:03.54.

Greenville’s squad of Tanner Herrmann, Seth Conway, Josh Smith and Jose Badell won the boys 200 yard freestyle relay in 1:40.44 while the Greenville team of Pablo Badell, Zac Davis, Shane Barga and Jacob Subler finished fourth in 2:08.64.

Greenville’s Isabella Gable won the girls 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.78, Tri-Village’s Edie Morris finished second in 1:10.91, and Greenville’s Cassey Bolyard finished fifth in 1:22.62.

Greenville’s Jose Badell won the boys 100 yard backstroke in a time of 1:01.34, Tri-Village’s Casey Puckett finished second in 1:02.55, and Greenville’s Jacob Subler finished fourth in 1:17.72.

Greenville’s Ana Oliveira finished second in the girls 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:35.01, and Greenville’s McKenna Crews finished third in 1:39.33.

Greenville’s Seth Conway finished third in the boys 100 yard breaststroke in a time of 1:12.26, and Greenville’s Pablo Badell finished fourth in 1:15.51.
