6 Greenville wrestlers place at Milton-Union invitational

WEST MILTON – Six of the seven Greenville varsity wrestlers placed in the top four of their weight classes on Saturday at the Milton-Union’s Bulldog Wrestling Invitational and took home medals.

The Green Wave placed sixth overall out of 12 schools competing. Other schools competing were Alter, Brookville, Catholic Central, Chaminade-Julienne, Columbus Grove, Dixie, Mechanicsburg, Milton-Union, Northridge, Twin Valley South and Waynesville.

Greenville’s William Nibert won the 182 pound class, Austin Lacey finished as the runner up in the 106 pound class, Dean Hurd placed third in the 113 pound class, Jacob Mikesell placed third in the 120 pound class, Christian Chalmers placed fourth in the 160 pound class, and Caden Gonzalez placed fourth in the 195 pound class.
