Tri-Village girls place 5th, boys 6th at Kenton Ridge powerlifting meet

SPRINGFIELD – The Tri-Village girls placed fifth and the boys placed sixth at Kenton Ridge’s 10-team powerlifting meet on Saturday.

Harding Stevenson won the ninth-10th grade boys 250 pound weight class as he lifted 195 pounds in the bench press and 410 in the deadlift for a total of 605 pounds. Seth Earls won the 11th-12th grade boys 250 pound and above class by lifting 325 pounds in the bench press and 630 in the deadlift for a total of 955 pounds.

Aaron Stewart was the runner up in the ninth-10th grade boys 135 pound class as he lifted 160 in the bench press and 310 in the deadlift for a total of 470 pounds. Charlie Bailey finished as the runner up in the 11th-12th grade boys 185 pound class by lifting 160 in the bench press and 355 in the deadlift for a total of 515 pounds.

Cassidy Ditty finished as the runner up in the ninth-10th grade girls 185 pound class as she lifted 95 in the bench press and 230 in the deadlift for a total of 325 pounds. Ashley Penny was the runner up in the ninth-10th grade girls 185 and above class by lifting 90 in the bench press and 205 in the deadlift for a total of 295 pounds.

Dillon Holsapple finished third in the ninth-10th grade boys 175 pound class by lifting 120 in the bench press and 230 in the deadlift for a total of 350 pounds. Dagan White finished third in the ninth-10th grade boys 250 pound class as he lifted 175 in the bench press and 350 in the deadlift for a total of 525 pounds. Nick Napier finished third in the 11th-12th grade boys 250 pound class by lifting 230 in the bench press and 410 in the deadlift for a total of 640 pounds.

Clara Buckley placed third in the ninth-10th grade girls 115 pound class by lifting 60 in the bench press and 165 in the deadlift for a total of 225 pounds. Holly Back finished third in the ninth-10th grade girls 155 pound class as she lifted 90 in the bench press and 205 in the deadlift for a total of 295 pounds.

Trevor Mote placed fourth in the ninth-10th grade boys 185 pound class as he lifted 150 in the bench press and 250 in the deadlift for a total of 400 pounds. Ian Bailey finished fourth in the ninth-10th grade boys 250 pound class by lifting 185 in the bench press and 320 in the deadlift for a total of 505 pounds. Tyler Bragg placed fourth in the ninth-10th grade boys 250 and above class as he lifted 160 in the bench press and 350 in the deadlift for a total of 510 pounds.

Madison Taylor finished fourth in the ninth-10th grade girls 155 pound class as she lifted 85 in the bench press and 195 in the deadlift for a total of 280 pounds. Marissa Roark placed fourth in the ninth-10th grade girls 185 pound class by lifting 95 in the bench press and 205 in the deadlift for a total of 300 pounds. Brianna Dunlap finished fourth in the ninth-10th grade girls 185 and above class as she lifted 80 in the bench press and 180 in the deadlift for a total of 260 pounds.

Dalton Barga finished fifth in the ninth-10th grade boys 165 pound class by lifting 95 in the bench press and 250 in the deadlift for a total of 345 pounds.

Kendrick Wahsum placed sixth in the ninth-10th grade boys 165 pound class as he lifted 115 in the bench press and 200 in the deadlift for a total of 315 points.

Foster Brown in the ninth-10th grade boys 125 pound class lifted 80 in the bench press and 195 in the deadlift for a total of 275 pounds. Nick Varvel in the ninth-10th grade boys 135 pound class lifted 75 in the bench press and 180 in the deadlift for a total of 255 pounds. Kirk Bradley in the 11th-12th grade boys 175 pound class lifted 115 in the bench press and 220 in the deadlift for a total of 335 pounds.
