Greenville boys tennis team sweeps Tippecanoe

TIPP CITY – The Greenville boys tennis team swept Tippecanoe 5-0 on Monday.

In first singles Greenville’s Noah Haupt picked up his first victory of the season, defeating Phillip Bullard 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.

In second singles the Green Wave’s Craig Manges beat Eric Staley 6-0, 6-4. Greenville’s Quintin Muhlenkamp beat Michael Gross 6-3, 6-0 in the third singles match.

Greenville’s Alex Lance and Tyler Davis beat Sam Kronour and Casey Kronour 6-4, 6-4 in first doubles. In the second doubles match Austin Grote and Josh Smith beat Zack Wildermuth and Evan Hill 6-1, 7-5.

Greenville improved to 3-1 with the win while Tippecanoe fell to 0-1.

Greenville’s junior varsity team beat Tipp 4-1. Winners included Aaron Lobenstein, Bryan Day, Zach Miller, Jayce Lovett, Ryan Clefford and Pablo Badell.
