ROSSBURG – With rain and cold temperatures befalling Darke County and forecasted through late Friday night, Eldora Speedway officials have canceled the Test and Tune Day scheduled for Saturday.

Little Eldora’s opener, the 2016 SpringBuster, is still set for Sunday. The driver’s meeting is set for 11:15 a.m., and racing begins at 12:30 p.m.

Eldora’s 63nd season opener will be on April 16 with the Sunoco American Late Model Series, the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds and the Eldora Stock Cars competing on the legendary half-mile clay oval.

Admission gates will open at 2 p.m. with hot laps beginning at 4:30 p.m. Eldora’s early season post-time is in effect with the complete racing program beginning at 6 p.m.
