DARKE COUNTY – The weather forced all of Thursday’s Darke County sporting events to be canceled and already is affecting schedules for this weekend.

Greenville’s softball game at Troy was pushed back from Thursday to 5 p.m. Friday. Thus, Greenville’s previously scheduled home softball game against Covington on Friday has been canceled.

The Miami East Invitational track and field meet that was supposed to include Ansonia, Arcanum, Franklin Monroe and Tri-Village on Friday has been canceled.

Tri-Village’s softball game against St. Henry on Friday has been canceled.

The Cancer Classic softball tournament at Newton, which Franklin Monroe and Versailles were scheduled to play in, has been canceled.

Franklin Monroe has canceled Saturday’s doubleheader baseball games against Greenon.

Tri-Village’s baseball doubleheader at Milton-Union on Saturday has been canceled. Also, Tri-Village’s softball doubleheader at Northridge has been canceled on Saturday.

The Bradford varsity and reserve baseball games with Troy Christian on Saturday have been moved back to 1 and 3 p.m.

Bradford has rescheduled its varsity baseball game against New Knoxville for Monday.

Bradford has rescheduled its varsity baseball and softball games at Twin Valley South for Wednesday. Bradford also has rescheduled its junior varsity baseball game against Twin Valley South for Wednesday.
