Greenville baseball team loses at Lebanon

LEBANON – Both teams had five hits, but Greenville came up short at Lebanon on Friday in a 3-2 loss.

Lebanon scored all three of its runs in the second inning while the Greenville baseball team scored both of its runs in the sixth.

Both teams had five hits. Greenville had three errors, and Lebanon committed one.

Brandon Beyke led the Greenville offense by going 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and a RBI. Jacob Hounshell was 1-for-2 with a walk and scored a run. Logan Eldridge was 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run. Karsyn Fender was 1-for-2.

Kyle Mills pitched the complete game for the Green Wave, allowing two earned runs and one unearned run on five hits, no walks, one hit batter and five strikeouts.

Greenville fell to 4-10 with the loss while Lebanon improved to 12-2.
