ROSSBURG – The two-day Monster Jam event at Eldora Speedway wrapped up Saturday night with more ATV races and monster truck madness.

For the ATV racing Eldora had three heats. The first two were the qualifying heats of four laps each. The third heat was the championship race.

In heat one the winner was Dennis Boldwen, and in the second heat the 321 of Bobby Osborne was victorious. The winner of the six lap championship race was the 54 of Andrew Geesaman.

Geeseman, from Columbus, has been racing for four years. He also raced box bikes as a kid though so racing has been in his background.

Monster Jam ran seven heats again Saturday night. The first event was the wheelies event. Grave Digger with Pablo Huffaker driving tonight took the win. He also placed Friday night, making it a sweep for the weekend.

For the next events Eldora had the qualifying to see where the trucks would be placed in the racing, and then they all raced each other. It came down to Son-uva Digger and Lucas Oil Crusader with Son-uva Digger coming out on top. This also was another sweep for the weekend as he won Friday night, too.

In the next event was the doughnuts event again. The most votes for the doughnuts event went to Max-D.

In the last event came the freestyle with another victory by Son-uva Digger. This was also the same results as Friday night, making it a sweep as well for Son-uva Digger in the event.

The next event for Eldora is Saturday with $8 Family Night. This event will host bounce houses, autographs, balloon twisting clowns, racing, fireworks after the races and more. The gates open at 5 p.m. with the autographs from 5 to 6 p.m., bounce houses from 5 to 7:15, the clowns from 5 to 7:30, hot laps at 6:30, racing at 7:30 and then the fireworks right after the racing.
