ANSONIA – Franklin Monroe topped Ansonia in a five-set Cross County Conference volleyball match on Thursday, 13-25, 25-23, 25-23, 24-26, 15-10.
Makenzie Kreitzer led Franklin Monroe with 19 kills while Corina Conley added 15. Both Conley and Kreitzer had three blocks.
FM’s Cassidy Spatz had a team-leading 18 assists while Kennedy Morris added 13. Emilee Morris had 35 digs, and Kreitzer had 28. Kennedy Morris and Madison Schaar both had two aces for the Jets.
