ANSONIA – Ansonia’s volleyball team beat Newton and Stivers on Saturday.
Ansonia began the day with a 25-22, 25-23 sweep of fellow Cross County Conference member Newton. The Lady Tigers then beat Stivers 25-12, 20-25, 25-21.
With the pair of victories Ansonia increased its season record to 15-3.
