Eldora Speedway concludes 2016 season with Sprintacular

ROSSBURG – Eldora Speedway hosted its last race of the season Saturday night with its Sprintacular.

The season finale began with four heat races, each lasting eight laps.

Winning heat one was the 49D of Shawn Dancer, in second was the 93 of Sheldon Haudenschild, third was 17B of Bill Balog, fourth was the 2M of Dustin Daggett and in fifth was the 8M of TJ Michael.

Heat two saw the 18 of Ian Madsen claim the victory, second was the 5T of Travis Philo, third was the 81 of Lee Jacobs, fourth was the 7C of Caleb Armstrong and fifth place was the 3Z Brock Zearfoss.

The 24 of Rico Abreu took first in heat three. Abreu was followed by the 1B of Dale Blaney, the 82 of Sammy Swindell, 12N of Cole Duncan and the 21C of Cap Henry.

The 10H of Chad Kemenah, 13M of Brandon Matus, 11K of Kraig Kinser, 4 of Danny Smith and the 7K of Dallas Hewitt were the top five for heat four.

Next Eldora hosted the dash, which was six laps. Taking home first in the dash was the 10H of Chad Kemenah, second went to the 93 of Sheldon Haudenschild, the 24 of Rico Abreu was third, the 11K of Kraig Kinser was fourth and in fifth for the dash was the 1B of Dale Blaney.

The B Feature, which was ran next, was 12 laps. Taking home the black and white checkered was the 97 of Aaron Reutzell, second was the 23C of Tyler Courtnet, third was the 70 of Danny Holtgraver, fourth was the 6M of Jac Haudenschild and fifth was the 60 of Kory Crabtree.

Last for Sprint Cars was the A Feature, which was 30 laps. Winning the A feature was the 24 of Rico Abreu, second was the 1B of Dale Blaney, third was the 10H of Chad Kemenah, fourth was the 21C of Cap Henry and fifth was the 12N of Cole Duncan.

The NRA Sprint Invaders raced next. They raced three heat laps each lasting eight laps.

In heat one was the 22H of Randy Hannagan in first, second was the 20B of Butch Schroeder, third was the 17 of Jared Horstman, fourth was the 23D of Devon Dobie and fifth was the 27 of Brad Lamberson.

Heat two had the 71H of Dustin Daggett in first, the 2 of Kyle Sauder in second, the 87 of Aaron Reutzel in third, fourth was the 14H of Jim Huppunen and fifth was the 11 of Tim Allison.

The 6S of Max Stambaugh won heat three, second was the 10B of Mitch Brown, third was the 35 of Ron Blair, fourth was the 11N of Ed Neumeister and fifth was the 97 of Cory Turner.

The B Feature, which was 10 laps, had the 53 of Jack Dover in first, second was the 79 of Jordan Thomas, third was the 31 of Andy Tuenessen, fourth was the 5W of Jeff Williams and fifth was the 77x of Alex Hill.

The A Feature, which was 25 laps, went to the 87 of Aaron Reutzel, the 20B of Butch Schroeder was second, the 71H of Dustin Daggett was third, the 11 of Tim Allison was fourth and rounding out the top five was the 23D of Devon Dobie.

The BOSS Sprint Cars raced next with six heats of eight laps each.

For heat one it was the 320 of Bill Rose taking first, second went to the 14W of Chad Wilson, 17G of Justin Grant was third, fourth was the 21 of Carmen Pergio and fifth was the 39 of Matt Goodnight.

Heat two was the 30 of CJ Leary, second was the 57 of Shane Cottle, third was the 19 of Matt Cooley, fourth was the 11 of David Applegate and fifth was the 18D of Bob Distel.

Heat three saw the 33M of Matt Westfall followed by the 9N of Luke Hall, the 4F of Michael Fischesser, the 15 of Brandon Whited and the 19X of Cooper Clouse.

The 5 of Chris Windom, 89 of Shawn Westerfeld, 23S of Kyle Simon, the 74 of Drew Rader and the 53 of Steve Little took the five top places in heat four.

The 9X of Thomas Meseraull, 18K of Dallas Hewitt, 17B of Nick Bilbee, 4J of Justin Owen and the 5M of Bob McMillin were top five in heat five.

For heat six taking the black and white checkered was the 77 of Dustin Smith, the 7X of Logan Hupp was second, third was the 27 of Zach Morrow, fourth was the 32M of Derek Hastings and fifth was the 04 of Drew Abe.

In the B Feature one, which was 12 laps, taking first was the 15 of Brandon Whited, second was the 6 of Chris Phillips, third was the 19X of Cooper Clouse, fourth was the 5M of Bob McMillin and fifth was the 21 of Carmen Pergio.

The 04 of Drew Abel, 74 of Drew Rader, the 32M of Derek Hastings, the 53 of Steve Little and the 18D of Bob Distel took the top five spots in B Feature two, which also was 12 laps.

The A feature was the last race of the night for 25 laps. Taking home the black and white checkered was the 5 of Chris Windom, the 9X of Thomas Meseraull was second, the 18K of Dallas Hewitt was third, the 77 of Dustin Smith was fourth and rounding out the top five was the 33M of Matt Westfall.

Eldora Speedway concluded its 2016 racing schedule with the Sprintacular on Saturday night.
