ANSONIA – Ansonia celebrated its senior night on Thursday with a 25-20, 25-4, 25-19 victory against the National Trail volleyball team.
Seniors Lydia Sink and Traeva Newland helped Ansonia improve to 17-4 overall and 9-3 in the Cross County Conference with the victory.
Ansonia now turns its attention to the Ohio High School Athletic Association tournament. The Tigers will play fellow CCC member Twin Valley South at 7 p.m. Monday in Arcanum in the first round of the playoffs.
