Mississinawa Valley bowling teams defeat Parkway

WAPAKONETA – The Mississinawa Valley bowling teams began the West Ohio High School Bowling Conference season with victories against Parkway on Saturday at Astro Lanes in Wapakoneta.

The Mississinawa Valley boys beat Parkway 2,467-2,111.

Zac Longfellow led the Mississinawa Valley boys with games of 176 and 197. Also for the Blackhawks, Josh Cantu had games of 153 and 215, Lucas Neubauer had games of 186 and 157, Alex Longfellow had games of 185 and 151, and Brandon White had games of 172 and 150.

MV’s boys improved to 1-0 with the victory while Parkway fell to 0-1.

The Mississinawa Valley girls beat Parkway 2,062-1,918.

Spencer Warren led Mississinawa Valley’s girls with games of 151 and 185. Also for the Lady Hawks, Payton Reichard had games of 160 and 139, Tiffany Westfall had games of 146 and 122, Audree Weimer had games of 127 and 136, and Elizibeth Mangas had games of 103 and 118.

Mississinawa Valley’s girls improved to 1-0 with the victory while Parkway fell to 0-1.

The Mississinawa Valley bowling teams will continue their seasons on Saturday at Plaza Lanes in Celina. At 9:45 a.m. the Mississinawa Valley boys will face Lima Central Catholic, and then at 1 p.m. the Mississinawa Valley girls will face Van Wert.
