Mississinawa Valley bowling teams remain undefeated in WOHSBC action

CELINA – The Mississinawa Valley boys and girls bowling teams both remained undefeated with West Ohio High School Bowling Conference victories on Saturday at Plaza Lanes in Celina.

The Mississinawa Valley boys beat Lima Central Catholic 2,512-2218. Josh Cantu led Mississinawa Valley with games of 243 and 170. Also for the Blackhawks, Zac Longfellow rolled games of 185 and 152, Brandon White rolled games of 151 and 172, Alex Longfellow rolled games of 141 and 178, and Lucas Neubauer rolled games of 140 and 159.

Mississinawa Valley’s boys improved to 2-0 on the season with the victory.

The Mississinawa Valley girls beat Van Wert 2,060-1,974. Spencer Warren led Mississinawa Valley with games of 171 and 148. Also for the Lady Hawks, Payton Reichard rolled games of 167 and 149, Tiffany Westfall rolled games of 133 and 158, Elizibeth Mangas rolled games of 121 and 122, and Tabitha Richards rolled games of 118 and 98.

Mississinawa Valley’s girls improved to 2-0 on the year with the victory.

The Versailles girls beat Celina 2,602-2,347. Morgan Hietkamp led Versailles with games of 204 and 197. Also for the Tigers, Makenzie Berning rolled games of 177 and 170, Maggie Hedrick rolled games of 174 and 147, Brigette Holsapple rolled games of 148 and 156, and Morgan Barlage rolled a 179.

Versailles’ girls improved to 1-1 on the season with the victory.

The Versailles boys lost 2,990-2,565 to Celina. Kyle Cotner led Versailles with games of 203 and 154. Also for the Tigers, Alex Groff rolled games of 173 and 169, Luke Shellhaas rolled games of 140 and 184, Jacob Wenig rolled a 164, and Brody Hyre rolled a 147.

Versailles’ boys fell to 1-1 on the year with the loss.

The Ansonia boys lost 2,203-1,451 to Parkway. Tyler Clark led Ansonia with games of 125 and 119. Also for the Tigers, Sam Rhoades rolled games of 128 and 102, Jedd Rismiller rolled games of 115 and 91, Charles Murphy rolled games of 108 and 82, and Jacob Vietor rolled games of 47 and 64.

The Ansonia boys fell to 0-2 on the season with the loss.

The Ansonia girls lost 1,717-1,524 to Parkway. Madison Stover led Ansonia with games of 108 and 123. Also for the Lady Tigers, Molly Walls rolled games of 101 and 112, Rebecca Thornhill roled games of 107 and 102, Audrey Kelly rolled an 89, Lexi Shinn rolled an 86, Sarah Clark rolled an 84, and Rose Swanson rolled an 82.

The Ansonia girls fell to 0-2 on the year with the loss.

Ansonia, Mississinawa Valley and Versailles all will continue their seasons on Saturday at Woodcrest Lanes in Union City. At 9:45 a.m. the Ansonia boys will take on New Bremen while the Mississinawa Valley and Versailles boys will face each other. At 1 p.m. the Ansonia and Versailles girls will face each other while the Mississinawa Valley girls will take on Russia.
