Mississinawa Valley boys basketball team loses to Bethel

BRANDT – The Mississinawa Valley boys basketball team lost to Bethel 73-54 in a Cross County Conference game on Friday.

Bethel took a 20-11 first quarter lead and extended its advantage to 51-23 at halftime. The Bees led 63-44 through three quarters en route to their 73-54 win over the Blackhawks.

Ethan Bowman led Mississinawa Valley with 20 points in Friday’s game. Also for the Blackhawks, DJ Howell scored eight points, Trenton Perkins scored eight, Andrew Johns scored four, Darin Miller scored four, Cody Dirksen scored three, JJ Howard scored two, Alex Scholl scored two, Matt Slob scored two, and Brandon Beanblossom scored one.

Mississinawa Valley fell to 0-2 overall and in the CCC with the loss.
