TROTWOOD – The Versailles High School boys swim team placed third at the Trotwood Greenon Invitational at Trotwood High School on Saturday.
Twenty-one teams scored points at the meet. Team scores were as follows: 1st, Troy Christian, 348 points; 2nd, Northmont, 250.5 points; 3rd, Versailles, 164.5 points; 4th, Wayne, 92 points (tie); 4th, Urbana, 92 points (tie); 6th, Brookville, 86 points; 7th, Bethel, 74.5 points; 8th, Indian Lake, 57 points; 9th, Springfield, 56 points (tie); 9th, West Carrollton, 56 points (tie); 11th, Bellefontaine, 47 points; 12th, Dayton Christian, 42 points; 13th, Arcanum, 38 points; 14th, Legacy Christian Academy, 37 points; 15th, Trotwood-Madison, 36 points; 16th, Lehman Catholic, 25.5 points; 17th, Monroe, 22 points; 18th, New Carlisle Tecumseh, 12 points; 19th, Benjamin Logan, 7 points; 20th, Miami East, 6 points; and 21st, Springfield Greenon, 1 point.
Versailles’ Cole Condon broke his own school record in the 50 yard butterfly. He swam the event in 24.75, breaking his previous record of 25.57 set on Dec. 3.
