TIPP CITY – Greenville held an early lead in Wednesday’s Greater Western Ohio Conference girls basketball game but lost 64-23 to Tippecanoe.

In the first few minutes Greenville was up by three, but the Lady Wave didn’t keep that lead for very long and for the rest of the night the Red Devils held the advantage. By the end of the first quarter Greenville trailed by 11 with a score of 15-4.

In the second quarter the Red Devils kept increasing the lead. The Wave were down by 25 at half with a score of 35-10.

The Red Devils just kept running away with the game the next two quarters as Tippecanoe has a lot of girls who can shoot and make 3-pointers. At the end of the third quarter the score was 51-18, and the final scored wound up being 64-23. Each quarter the Red Devils outscore the Lady Wave.
