Greenville boys basketball team defeats Milton-Union

WEST MILTON – The Greenville boys basketball team beat Milton-Union 76-59 on Saturday.

Greenville took a 19-10 lead in the first quarter and led 43-28 at halftime. The Green Wave increased their lead to 61-40 in the third quarter on their way to a 76-59 victory.

Isaiah Gable led Greenville with a game-high 22 points. Also for the Wave, Aaron Rich scored 13 points, Will Coomer scored 7, Devin Hendrix scored 7, Trae Wood scored 6, Peter Pandey scored 5, Marcus Wood scored 5, Noah Vanhorn scored 4, Kyle Mills scored 4, and Kyle Phillips scored 3.

William Morris led Milton-Union with 15 points. Also for the Bulldogs, Caleb Wintrow scored 11 points, Ryan Moore scored 7, A.J. Lovin scored 6, Daniel Albaugh scored 5, Blake Ullery scored 5, Blake Smith scored 4, Keagan Crosby scored 2, Aaron Stone scored 2, and Zach Vagedes scored 2.

Greenville improved to 7-5 with the win while Milton-Union fell to 2-10.
