Versailles boys basketball team earns top seed in OHSAA tournament

DARKE COUNTY – The Versailles boys basketball team earned the top seed in the Division III Dayton sectional in the Ohio High School Athletic Association tournament.

Versailles (19-1) is the top seed in its sectional and will play 19th seeded Milton-Union (2-17) at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Northmont in the first round of the tournament.

Greenville (13-6) earned the ninth seed in the Division I Dayton sectional and will play fourth seeded Sidney (16-4) at 8 p.m. Feb. 25 at Trotwood.

Franklin Monroe (15-6) earned the sixth seed in the Division III Dayton sectional and will play seventh seeded Preble Shawnee (14-6) at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at Vandalia-Butler.

Arcanum (7-13) earned the 17th seed in the Division III Dayton sectional and will play 15th seeded National Trail (9-12) at 5 p.m. Feb. 25 at Vandalia-Butler.

Bradford (2-18) earned the 13th seed in the Division IV Piqua sectional and will play second seeded Fairlawn (17-3) at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Piqua.

Mississinawa Valley (7-13) earned the 10th seed in the Division IV Piqua sectional and will play fourth seeded Jackson Center (13-6) at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at Piqua.

Ansonia (12-9) earned the sixth seed in the Division IV Piqua sectional and will play fifth seeded Covington (10-9) at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Piqua.

Tri-Village (13-6) earned the second seed in the Division IV Troy sectional and will play 12th seeded Emmanuel Christian (4-15) at 11 a.m. Feb. 25 at Troy.
