Tri-Village powerlifting teams place 5th at Springfield Shawnee

SPRINGFIELD – The Tri-Village boys and girls powerlifting teams both placed fifth on Saturday at Springfield Shawnee.

Clara Buckley won the underclassmen girls 115 pound class by lifting 80 pounds in the bench press and 200 in the deadlift for a total of 280 pounds.

Natasha Napier won the underclassmen girls 135 pound class as she lifted 90 in the bench press and 235 in the deadlift for a total of 325 pounds.

Holly Back finished second in the underclassmen girls 170 pound class by lifting 115 in the bench press and 235 in the deadlift for a total of 350 pounds.

Lauren Banis finished second in the underclassmen girls 185 pound class as she lifted 90 in the bench press and 240 in the deadlift for a total of 330 pounds.

Cassidy Ditty finished second in the underclassmen girls 200 pound class by lifting 110 in the bench press and 280 in the deadlift for a total of 390 pounds.

Katherine Banis finished second in the upperclassmen girls 125 pound class as she lifted 90 in the bench press and 215 in the deadlift for a total of 305 pounds.

Marrissa Roark finished third in the underclassmen girls 170 pound class by lifting 105 in the bench press and 225 in the deadlift for a total of 330 pounds.

Ashley Penny competed in the underclassmen girls unlimited class and lifted 105 pounds in the bench press.

Willie Strunk finished third in the underclassmen boys 145 pound class by lifting 115 in the bench press and 235 in the deadlift for a total of 350 pounds.

Tyler Bragg finished third in the underclassmen boys unlimited class as he lifted 175 in the bench press and 345 in the deadlift for a total of 520 pounds.

Nick Napier finished third in the upperclassmen boys unlimited class by lifting 270 in the bench press and 490 in the deadlift for a total of 760 pounds.

John Heeter finished third in the upperclassmen boys 210 pound class as he lifted 245 in the bench press and 385 in the deadlift for a total of 630 pounds.

Jackson Plush lifted 215 in the bench press and 380 in the deadlift for a total of 595 pounds in the upperclassmen boys 210 pound class.

Ian Bailey lifted 210 in the bench press and 370 in the deadlift for a total of 580 pounds in the upperclassmen boys unlimited class.

Trevor Mote lifted 195 in the bench press and 330 in the deadlift for a total of 525 pounds in the upperclassmen boys 210 pound class.

Damien Edwards lifted 200 in the bench press and 355 in the deadlift for a total of 555 pounds in the upperclassmen boys 155 pound class.

Brian Johnson lifted 110 in the bench press and 300 in the deadlift for a total of 410 pounds in the underclassmen boys 175 pound class.

Trevor Brown lifted 140 in the bench press and 295 in the deadlift for a total of 435 pounds in the underclassmen boys 250 pound class.

Chance Davis lifted 130 in the bench press and 290 in the deadlift for a total of 420 pounds in the underclassmen boys 195 pound class.

Dylan Holsapple lifted 160 in the bench press and 295 in the deadlift for a total of 455 pounds in the underclassmen boys 185 pound class.

Hunter Gillett lifted 290 pounds in the deadlift in the underclassmen boys 165 pound class.

Foster Brown lifted 95 in the bench press and 240 in the deadlift for a total of 335 pounds in the underclassmen boys 125 pound class.

Blake Brandenburg lifted 80 in the bench press and 180 in the deadlift for a total of 260 pounds in the underclassmen boys 125 pound class.
