Versailles’ Morgan Heitkamp named bowler of the year by WOHSBC

DARKE COUNTY – Versailles’ Morgan Heitkamp was recognized as the West Ohio High School Bowling Conference South Division girls bowler of the year for the 2016-17 season.

The Versailles sophomore averaged a 187.3 score in 24 games this season. She had a high game of 277 and a high three-game series of 438.

Also making the WOHSBC South Division’s first team in girls bowling were Mississinawa Valley senior Spencer Warren and Versailles senior Brigette Holsapple.

Versailles senior Alex Groff earned first team all-WOHSBC South Division honors in boys bowling.

Mississinawa Valley freshman Zac Longfellow, Versailles senior Kyle Cotner and Versailles senior Jacob Wenig each made the WOHSBC South Division’s second team for boys bowling.

Versailles junior Makenzie Berning earned second team all-South Division honors in girls bowling.

Mississinawa Valley junior Payton Reichard and Versailles senior Maggie Hedrick made the WOHSBC South Division honorable mention team for girls bowling.

Mississinawa Valley senior Alex Longfellow, Mississinawa Valley sophomore Brandon White and Versailles junior Luke Shellhaas each made the WOHSBC South Division honorable mention team for boys bowling.

St. Henry senior Troy Buehler was named the WOHSBC South Division boys bowler of the year.

Lima Shawnee sophomore Dayle Aldrich was named the WOHSBC North Division girls bowler of the year, and Wapakoneta junior Tyler Miller was named the WOHSBC North Division boys bowler of the year.
