Mississinawa Valley baseball team loses at Tri-County North

LEWISBURG – Mississinawa Valley matched Tri-County North in hits but lost 5-0 in a Cross County Conference baseball game on Monday.

Tri-County North scored one run in the first inning, three in the third and one in the sixth while holding Mississinawa scoreless.

Both teams had five hits and two errors.

Zac Longfellow led Mississinawa Valley offensively by going 2-for-4. Ethan Dirksen was 1-for-3 and stole a base. Andrew Johns went 1-for-3. Trent Collins was 1-for-4.

Matthew Slob pitched the complete game for Mississinawa Valley, allowing five earned runs on five hits, three walks and five strikeouts.
