VERSAILLES – Celina run ruled the Versailles softball team 11-1 in five innings on Monday.

Celina scored three runs in the first inning, two in the third and five in the fourth to build a 10-0 lead. Versailles scored its lone run in the bottom of the fourth before Celina scored the game’s final run in the top of the fifth.

Versailles had three hits and five errors on Monday, and Celina had 11 hits and no errors.

Cori Lawrence was 1-for-1 with a double and a RBI for Versailles. Sarah Gigandet went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run. Kate Stammen went 1-for-3 with a double.

Makenzie Knore pitched three innings for Versailles, allowing one earned run and six unearned runs on six hits, two walks and one strikeout. Lawrence pitched two innings and allowed three earned runs and one unearned run on five hits, no walks and one strikeout.
