Little Eldora season begins

ROSSBURG – Little Eldora kicked off the season with a huge turnout on Sunday as 226 entries came out to race.

The season opener had to run 60 heat races, seven consolations and 17 features. The final race had to run short due to it getting dark out and not having enough light to see.

Taking first place in the clone super heavy was Mike Dickerson followed by Colton Shaw and rounding out the top three was Ben Williams.

The flathead saw Philip Schneider, Tate Gummer and Chris Merkler in the top three positions.

Ian Creager, Dakota Moore and Eddie McIntosh took the top three spots in the Junior 3.

Larry Kingseed Jr., Colin Shipley and Kaden Francis were the first three in the Junior 1.

Winning the clone medium was Justin Clark followed by Kevin Wills and then Dustin Heath in the top three spots.

The clone lite was won by Kevin Wills followed by Dustin Heath and then Justin Clark rounded out the top three.

The clone apprentice was Cory Mills, Caleb Genzman and Dillon Hoffbauer in the top three.

The senior champ division was won by Jeremy Howe followed by Steven Berlin and then Braden Serres.

The LO 206 saw Jeff Lucius then Ian Creager and Francis Buck rounding out the top three spots.

George Myers took the black and white checkered for the Yamaha. He was followed by Rick Ray and Dylan Kinney in the top three spots.

The Predator had Dustin Boyer followed by Joshua Thompson in second.

Jr. Sportsman had Aiden Williamson winning followed by Dawson Kelly and then Larry Kingseed Jr.

The Open class had Ryan Erskine followed by Aaron Wilson and then Scott Shaffer for the top three spots.

The Rookie class was won by Tristan Chamberlain then Zane Riley was second and Drew Phillips finished third.

The Clove Heavy had Justin Clark taking the black and white checkered flag followed by Ron Osterholt and Josh Hanselman rounding out the top three spots.

The 2017 Little Eldora season began on Sunday in Rossburg.
