DARKE COUNTY – Several Darke County schools have announced schedule changes for their high school teams because of this week’s inclement weather.

Friday’s Miami East Invitational track and field meet, which was slated to include the teams from Ansonia, Arcanum, Franklin Monroe and Tri-Village, has been canceled due to anticipated cold temperatures.

Multiple changes have been made to the Cancer Classic softball tournament at Newton, which affect Franklin Monroe. On Friday the Franklin Monroe vs. Northwestern game has been moved to 5 p.m. ON Saturday Franklin Monroe will play Graham at 3 p.m. and Tippecanoe at 5 p.m.

The Bradford at Arcanum varsity baseball and softball games, which were postponed on Thursday because of weather, have been rescheduled for April 14.

The Arcanum at Bradford junior varsity baseball game, which was postponed on Thursday, has been rescheduled for April 14.

Franklin Monroe’s varsity baseball and softball games at Twin Valley South, which were postponed because of weather on Thursday, have been rescheduled for 5 p.m. April 19.

Ansonia’s varsity baseball and softball games at Covington, which were postponed Thursday because of weather, have been rescheduled for April 26.

Also, Bradford has announced several other changes to its upcoming schedules.

Bradford will play host to Tri-County North in junior varsity baseball at 5 p.m. Friday.

Bradford will travel to Tri-County North for a varsity softball game at 5 p.m. April 24.

Bradford’s junior varsity softball team will play at Newton at 5 p.m. April 26, a change from April 24.

The Bradford junior varsity baseball game with Bethel on April 27 has been canceled.

Bradford will play host to Tri-Village in junior varsity softball at 10 a.m. April 29.

Bradford’s junior varsity baseball game at Covington on May 2 has been canceled.

The Bradford junior varsity softball team will play host to Milton-Union at 5 p.m. May 3, a change from April 18.

The Bradford junior varsity baseball team will play host to St. Henry at 5 p.m. May 3.

Bradford’s varsity softball team will play at Miami East at 4:30 p.m. May 4. A junior varsity game will follow the varsity contest.

The Bradford junior varsity softball team will play host to Triad at 5 p.m. May 5, a change from April 25.

Bradford will travel to Arcanum for a junior varsity softball doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. May 6, a change from April 20 and May 5.
