TROY – Troy swept Greenville 5-0 in a Greater Western Ohio Conference boys tennis match on Tuesday.

Shane Essick beat Greenville’s Noah Haupt 6-1, 6-0 in the first singles match. Elijah Sadler beat the Green Wave’s Craig Manges 6-1, 6-2 in second singles. Andrew Magoteaux beat the Wave’s Branson Leigeber 6-1, 6-1 in third singles.

In first doubles Jack Johnston and Nick Prus beat Greenville’s Austin Grote and Josh Smith 6-4, 6-3. Nathan Kleptz and Anoop Patel beat the Green Wave’s Aaron Lobenstein and Josh Galloway 6-1, 6-4 in second doubles.

Greenville fell to 9-3 while Troy improved to 9-2.
