Tri-Village softball team run rules Miami East

CASSTOWN – Tri-Village run ruled Miami East 22-0 in a Cross County Conference softball game on Wednesday.

Tri-Village scored 10 runs in the first inning, five in the second, four in the third and three in the fourth while holding Miami East scoreless.

Tri-Village had 20 hits and no errors. East had two hits and three errors.

Taylor Bowles pitched the complete game, allowing no runs on two hits, no walks and two strikeouts.

Breeann Lipps went 4-for-4 with three RBI and three runs. Kloey Murphey was 3-for-5 with a RBI and four runs. Trisa Porter was 2-for-2 with a home run, a double, a walk, three runs and four RBI. Allie Downing was 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, three runs and four RBI. Payge Malott was 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and two runs.

Shelby Holzapfel went 2-for-2 with a run and two RBI. Andi Bietry was 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs and two RBI. Danika Mann was 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs. Rachel Miller was 1-for-3 with a walk and three runs. Madi Foreman was 1-for-1 with a RBI and a run. Peyton Bietry was 1-for-1.
