CASSTOWN – Tri-Village lost 5-1 in a Cross County Conference baseball game at Miami East on Wednesday.
Tri-Village took a 1-0 lead in the top half of the first inning, but Miami East responded with three runs in the bottom half of the frame then added one run in the second inning and one in the sixth.
Tri-Village had seven hits and four errors. Miami East had six hits and one error.
Jonny Wilson went 1-for-2 with a triple and a RBI for Tri-Village. Christian Ricker was 1-for-3 with a double and scored a run.
Ricker was charged with the loss to drop to 3-2 on the season. He allowed three earned runs and two unearned runs on six hits, four walks and five strikeouts in six innings on the mound.
Tri-Village dropped to 10-4 overall and 3-4 in the CCC with the loss.
