Greenville ranked No. 6 in Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association state poll

COLUMBUS – Greenville is ranked sixth in Division II in the first Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association state poll of the 2017 season.

Greenville is ranked behind Hebron Lakewood, LeGrange Keystone, Clinton Massie, Kenton Ridge and Oak Harbor in the state poll. Graham, Granville, Maumee and Springfield Shawnee trail the Lady Wave in the rankings.

Greenville is the lone Darke County team to be ranked in the OHSFSCA poll this season. The Lady Wave have been ranked in 78 of the last 79 state polls.

Other teams with Darke County connections ranked in the poll include Greater Western Ohio Conference member Lebanon being ranked No. 2in Division I, Midwest Athletic Conference member New Bremen is ranked No. 4 in Division IV, Cross County Conference member Newton is ranked No. 7 in Division IV, and MAC member Parkway is ranked No. 9 in Division IV.
