NEW PARIS – The Arcanum softball team won a share of the Cross County Conference championship by defeating National Trail 12-1 on Thursday.
McKenzie Sharritts led the Trojans with four hits. Cassidy Clark and Gracie Garno had three hits each. Hannah Weaver and Shai Robinson with both had two hits. Robinson had an inside-the-park home run.
Elle Siculan and Macy Skelton combined for the win with Siculan striking out three.
Arcanum improved to 21-4 overall and 10-2 in the CCC.
