Versailles boys golf team places 7th at New Bremen’s Cardinal Invitational

MINSTER – Versailles finished in the middle of the pack in New Bremen’s Cardinal Invitational on Tuesday at Arrowhead Golf Club.

Versailles finished seventh with a 384 team score in the 13-team boys golf tournament. Wapakoneta won the tournament with a 329, Fort Loramie was the runner-up with a 343, Minster finished third with a 344, Anna finished fourth with a 355, Lehman Catholic finished fifth with a 364, and St. Marys finished sixth with a 378.

Jackson Center finished eighth with a 387, Houston finished ninth with a 396, Russia finished 10th with a 405, New Bremen finished 11th with a 407, New Knoxville finished 12th with a 434, and Botkins finished 13th with a 435.

Connor VanSkyock led Versailles with an 18-hole round of 384. Also for the Tigers, PJ Platfoot shot a 97, Alex Keiser shot a 99, Austin Pleiman shot a 103, Will Eversole shot a 104, and Isaac White shot a 115.
