LYNN, Ind. – Ansonia and Mississinawa Valley competed in the Randolph Southern Invitational cross country meet on Saturday.
Mariah Troutwine led Ansonia’s girls as she finished 27th overall with a time of 23:27.0. Also for the Lady Tigers, Katie Werts finished 42nd in 24:44.10, Lydia Snyder finished 45th in 25:06.30, Olivia Wright finished 54th in 25:37.90, Breena Hall finished 69th in 26:58.60, Amber Bergman finished 75th in 27:17.90, Ava Kammer finished 93rd in 31:48.40, and Millie Widener finished 101st in 36:06.60.
Gabby Rammel led the Mississinawa Valley girls by finishing 84th overall in 28:39.80. Also for the Lady Hawks, Maria Ojeda finished 88th in 30:04.20, and Piper Phillips finished 100th in 34:49.10.
The Ansonia girls finished sixth in the high school girls standings. Mississinawa Valley didn’t have enough runners to record a team score. Yorktown won the race, which included 12 teams.
In the high school boys standings Ansonia finished 11th while Mississinawa Valley finished 13th. Muncie Central won the 13-team meet.
Brayden Swabb led the Ansonia boys by finishing 33rd overall in 19:46.60. Also for the Tigers, Garrett Kaiser finished 62nd in 21:15.20, Michael Hall finished 76th in 22:12.60, Kyle Thornhill finished 82nd in 22:28.00, Daniel Shaner finished 99th in 23:44.40, and Jacob Vietor finished 115th in 27:40.00.
Dalton Marker led Mississinawa Valley’s boys by finishing 36th overall in 19:52.60. Also for the Blackhawks, Roman Dircksen finished 81st in 22:26.60, Brenden King finished 89th in 23:01.30, Colby Manning finished 97th in 23:30.20, Michael Rammel finished 100th in 23:44.60, and Shawn Wogoman finished 112th in 26:39.70.
Anderson Preparatory Academy’s Michael Taylor won the boys race in 16:42.70, and Randolph Southern’s Leah Keesling won the girls race in 19:38.90.
