GREENVILLE – Greenville lost 215-222 to Fairmont in a girls golf match on Thursday at Turtle Creek Golf Course.

Jada Garland and Makenzi Glancy led Greenville as they both shot a 52 for the nine-hole round. Also for the Lady Wave, Ashley Karns shot a 58, and Lainey Oswalt shot a 60.

Fairmont’s Lauren Hullinger was the match medalist with a 50. Also for the Firebirds, Taylor Smith shot a 52, Abby Stitt shot a 55, and Maggie Aldridge shot a 58.

Greenville fell to 5-7 with the loss while Fairmont improved to 6-2.
