PIQUA – Franklin Monroe lost 186-195 to Covington in a Cross County Conference boys golf match on Thursday at Echo Hills Golf Course.
Bryce Filbrun led Franklin Monroe with a nine-hole round of 40. Also for the Jets, Noah Koffer shot a 50, Jeremy Bridenbaugh shot a 51, Dalton Geubeaux shot a 54, Jacob Aslinger shot a 55, and Austin Wolf shot a 62.
Covington’s Andrew Slusher was the match medalist with a one-over-par 37. Also for the Buccaneers, Grant Humphrey shot a 46, Jack Shell shot a 51, Job Morgan shot a 52, Dylan Lucas shot a 55, and Thomas Kuether shot a 60.
