Cole Good leads the Franklin Monroe cross country team at the Darby Dash

HILLIARD – Franklin Monroe’s Cole Good finished in the top 10 at the Darby Dash cross country meet on Saturday in Hilliard.

In a field of 360 runners, Good finished ninth in the varsity boys race with a time of 16:52.04. Also for the Jets, Kyle Ressler finished 76th in 18:44.68, Bailey Wyan finished 84th in 18:50.04, Brendan Hosler finished 95th in 19:00.51, Justin Chen finished 174th in 20:28.45, Isaac Schmitmeyer finished 206th in 21:14.18, Nathaniel Davis finished 215th in 21:21.14, Isaac Shellabarger finished 225th in 21:27.88, Ross Thayer finished 261st in 22:09.54, Dean Sease finished 270th in 22:20.71, Dylan Tucker finished 284th in 22:41.10, Ethan Fee finished 311th in 23:37.34, Adam Wilson finished 323rd in 24:19.55, Hunter Willoughby finished 337th in 25:19.10, and Jonathan Chen finished 356th in 28:01.22.

As a team Franklin Monroe finished ninth out of 12 schools in the boys standings, finishing ahead of Bishop Hartley, Greenon and Groveport Madison.

Franklin Monroe’s girls finished 10th out of 12 schools in the team standings ahead of Central Crossing and Greenon.

Selene Weaver led the FM girls by finishing 64th overall in 23:13.05. Also for the Lady Jets, Nicole Brocious finished 65th in 23:13.93, Audrey Cable finished 96th in 23:54.93, Raegan Warner finished 103rd in 24:10.61, and Danielle McVey finished 118th in 24:31.69.

Hilliard Darby’s Daniella Santos won the varsity girls race, which included 242 runners, with a time of 18:44.45 Dublin Jerome’s Kellen Posacki won the varsity boys race in 16:06.48.
