Versailles volleyball team earns No. 2 seed in OHSAA playoffs

DARKE COUNTY – Versailles earned the second seed in its sectional, which was the best seeding among the Darke County volleyball teams in the Ohio High School Athletic Association tournament.

Versailles (15-5) earned the second seed in the Division III Brookville sectional and will play 18th seeded Northeastern (4-15) at 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at Brookville.

Arcanum (14-5) earned the sixth seed in the Division III Brookville sectional and will play 12th seeded Dixie (9-10) at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at Brookville.

Greenville (7-12) earned the ninth seed in the Division II Tecumseh sectional and will play seventh seeded Ponitz (13-5) at 8 p.m. Oct. 17 at Tecumseh.

Franklin Monroe (18-2) earned the fourth seed in the Division IV Arcanum sectional and will play eighth seeded Lehman Catholic (9-11) at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 in Arcanum.

Tri-Village (8-11) earned the 14th seed in the Division IV Troy sectional and will play 15th seeded Tri-County North (7-12) at 8 p.m. Oct. 18 at Troy.

Ansonia (5-13) earned the 17th seed in the Division IV Troy sectional and will play 10th seeded Troy Christian (13-8) at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in Troy.

Mississinawa Valley (5-15) earned the 19th seed in the Division IV Troy sectional and will play ninth seeded Emmanuel Christian (16-5) at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18 in Troy.

Bradford (2-19) earned the 26th seed in the Division IV Troy sectional and received a first-round bye. The Lady Railroaders will pay the winner of third seeded Russia (14-7) and 21st seeded Legacy Christian (7-12) at 1 p.m. Oct. 21 in Troy.
