CENTERVILLE – Greenville’s girls finished third in the American League while the Green Wave boys finished fourth at the Greater Western Ohio Conference cross country meet on Saturday.

Greenville’s girls finished third in the eight-team American League behind champion Troy and runner-up Tippecanoe. Piqua finished fourth, Vandalia-Butler finished fifth, Xenia finished sixth, Sidney finished seventh, and Fairborn finished eighth.

For the entire GWOC the Lady Wave finished ninth out of 17 teams. Centerville won the conference championship ahead of Springboro, Beavercreek, Troy and Tippecanoe.

Isabelle Rammel led Greenville’s girls by finishing 36th overall and 10th in the American League with a time of 20:39.0.

Grace Coakley finished 50th overall and 14th in the American League with a time of 21:29.1. Hayley Maher finished 61st overall and 20th in the American League in a time of 22:23.9.

Chloe Sowry finished 71st overall and 24th in the American League in a time of 23:25.5. Mikayla Miller finished 72nd overall and 25th in the American League in 23:27.3.

Kelsie Ruble finished 76th overall and 26th in the American League with a time of 23:53.0. Lauren Dull finished 81st overall and 29th in the American League in 24:28.5.

Troy’s Morgan Gigandet won the GWOC and American League championships in a time of 17:31.8.

Greenville’s boys finished fourth out of 10 teams in the American League behind champion Butler, runner-up Tippecanoe and third place Troy. Sidney finished fifth, Xenia finished sixth, Piqua finished seventh, West Carrollton finished eighth, Stebbins finished ninth, and Fairborn finished 10th.

Overall Greenville’s boys finished 11th out of 19 teams in the GWOC. Centerville won the conference championship ahead of Springboro, Beavercreek, Miamisburg and Lebanon.

Andrew Kocker led the Green Wave boys as he finished 33rd overall and sixth in the American League with a time of 17:33.9.

Matt Karns finished 57th overall and 16th in the American League in a time of 18:28.2. Riley Emerick finished 59th overall and 18th in the American League in 18:30.6.

Jacob Subler finished 69th overall and 25th in the American League with a time of 18:43.4. Alex Subler finished 72nd overall and 26th in the American League in a time of 18:49.1.

Jacob Watson finished 85th overall and 32nd in the American League in a time of 19:39.7. Seth Unger finished 94th overall and 36th in the American League in 20:04.7.

Centerville’s Connor Downs won the GWOC championship for the boys with a time of 17:11.7. Tippecanoe’s Bryce Conley won the American League race in 16:12.3.
