ARCANUM – The Arcanum boys golf team beat Newton 167-179 in a Cross County Conference match on Tuesday at Beechwood Golf Course.

Arcanum’s Justin Hoke led all golfers as he shot a one-under-par 35 for the nine-hole round. Also for the Trojans, Conner Pohl shot a 41, Hayden Westfall shot a 45, Nate Kubik shot a 46, Steven Vanatta shot a 48, and Sam Artz shot a 49.

Brock Jamison led Newton with a round of 40 while Chet Jamison shot a 42, Wade Ferrell shot a 46, Grant Bayer shot a 51, Nate Zielinske shot a 54, and Milan Bess shot a 56.
