ANSONIA – The Ansonia girls basketball team lost 63-51 to St. Henry on Saturday.
After trailing 11-7 through one quarter, Ansonia tied the score a 26-26 at halftime. However, St. Henry pulled away in the second half to win by 12.
Trinity Henderson led Ansonia with 16 points in the game. Also for the Lady Tigers, Kassy Wentworth and Katie Werts each scored 10 points. Wentworth added five rebounds while Werts had four steals.
Ansonia will travel to Hagerstown, Indiana, tonight.
