VERSAILLES – The Versailles junior varsity boys golf team lost to Miami East on a tiebreaker on Friday at Stillwater Valley Golf Club.
Both Versailles and Miami East shot a 212 in the match, but because Versailles only had four golfers record scores, Miami East won the fifth-man tiebreaker.
Michael Hemmelgarn led Versailles with a three-over-par 38, which was a career low for him. Also for the Tiges, Alex Keiser shot a 53, Alec Ahrens shot a 55, and Austin Pleiman shot a 66.
Versailles’ junior varsity fell to 2-9 with the loss.
