Versailles volleyball team ranked No. 15 in OHSVCA state poll

COLUMBUS – The Versailles volleyball team is ranked No. 15 in Division III in the second Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association state rankings of the 2015 season.

Versailles, which reached the final four of the Ohio High School Athletic Association state tournament each of the past two seasons, is ranked behind Gilmour Academy, Highland, Coldwater, St Henry, Huron, Tuslaw, Newark Catholic, Orrville, Adena, Edison (Milan), Buckeye Trail, Newton Falls, Eastwood and Tuscarawas Valley in the Division III poll.

Versailles is the lone Darke County volleyball team ranked in the OHSVCA poll.

A number of other teams with Darke County connections are ranked in this week’s poll. Troy from the Greater Western Ohio Conference is ranked No. 18 in Division I, Coldwater from the Midwest Athletic Conference is ranked No. 3 in Division III, St. Henry from the MAC is ranked No. 4 in Division III, Marion Local from the MAC is ranked No. 6 in Division IV, New Bremen from the MAC is ranked No. 12 in Division IV, and New Knoxville from the MAC is ranked No. 14 in Division IV.
