Greenville boys tennis team beats Trotwood-Madison

GREENVILLE – The Greenville boys tennis team beat Trotwood-Madison 4-1 in a Greater Western Ohio Conference match on Monday.

In first singles Greenville’s Branson Leigeber beat Tre Zachary 6-1, 6-2. In the second singles match the Green Wave’s Landon Muhlenkamp lost 1-6, 7-5, (10-7) to Jay Nelloms. In third singles the Wave’s Duda Wollmeister swept Anthony Patterson 6-0, 6-0.

In the first doubles match Greenville’s Aaron Lobenstein and Max Onkst beat Keijhon Foster beat Zion Moss 6-0, 6-4. In second doubles the Green Wave’s Josh Gallowa and Pablo Badell beat Terrance Smith beat Tyler Smith 6-1, 3-1 (retired).

Greenville improved to 11-5 overall and 7-2 in the GWOC with the win while Trotwood fell to 6-8 overall and 4-5 in the conference.

Greenville’s Connor Null and Alex Rasool won an extra doubles match against Trotwood-Madison.
